THE STORY: Named as shout-out to the late Phil Verry from Red Stag Mill. Phil was a visionary businessman and friend to the mountain bike community.

GETTING THERE: The trail starts at Waipa MTB car park and is designed to keep bikers of the very busy forest roads that run all the way to Planet Bike - after that the run to 8 Mile Gate is on either Ball and Chain or Puarenga trails.

TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Flat, gravel based and fast, 2-way with excellent sight lines, so please take verry, verry good care!
